Fully aware of that. I caught both of those traits from my mother. That said, at least I now have a medical expert telling people to back off and let me manage this.

That's because the official v9 is going to be released on Thursday. Based on what you're saying, the open beta is over.

And I was able to log on this morning, albeit in serious lag (so bad, it took me 3 minutes to kill a steamwalker).

And the same thing's happening on mushpoie, so its not v9. Its probably my pathetic excuse for a network this year which doesn't even load school sites correctly, yet demands horrific amounts of security.

Now that you mention it, yeah, it's been oddly bad, even by Flyff's standards. But I'm not so sure it's Flyff, as Guild Wars has had some similar lag issues. I'd bet there's a hop near both servers that's having problems.

I have seen a lot of people who said they were experiencing lag. So maybe it is the server. In that case, I hope everything gets solved by Thursday because I still can't even log in (not even on mushpoie).

Which is why im going to upgrade my 32-bit to a 64-bit with a processing unit. I hope it does not blow up my comp :SparRulz:

Doesn't seem to be lagging much now. There still is some, but it's not as bad as it was before. I'd say scale back on your difficulty of leveling (ie, don't aoe as many mobs, level against mobs a level or two lower than what you'd normally fight, etc) until they get v9 launched. That'll protect you from lag spikes.

If it's constant lag though... I'd say back off of the game until Monday.

For those of you in Meow, I'm going to grant some leniency for inactivity for the rest of the week due to the upgrade and the lag issues. I'd still like to know in the inactivity thread if you're going to be doing this though.

The only problem is I can't AoE anything. Because every time I try to log in and get to the screen where I pick my character it says "Cannot connect to the game. Please check the network." Which means this is probably a problem on my network's end.

I'm leaning towards a combination of both your ISP and the server in your instance. Again, if it's that bad, I'd wait until Monday before trying again, because I expect the servers to be packed on Thursday until, at the latest, Sunday.
